Slotly is a personal scheduling tool. It lets people book meetings with the owner of this site (the "host"). This page explains what information is used and why.

When you book a meeting

We collect the details you enter (your name, email address, any guest emails, phone number if requested, and notes) and the time you choose. These are used only to schedule the meeting, add it to the host's Google Calendar, and send calendar invitations and updates to you and your guests.

Google account data (host only)

The host signs in with Google and grants access to Google Calendar and Gmail. Slotly uses this access only to:

  • check the host's free/busy times (never the details of other events) so booked meetings don't overlap,
  • read the list of the host's calendars so they can choose which ones to check for conflicts,
  • create, update and cancel calendar events for bookings (including Google Meet links), and
  • send booking invitation emails that the host chooses to send.

Slotly does not read the host's emails, does not store calendar event details beyond bookings made through Slotly, and never sells or shares Google user data with anyone. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

Booking details are stored in a private database used only by this site. Cancelled and past bookings can be deleted by the host at any time. No advertising or tracking cookies are used; a single cookie keeps the host signed in.

Your choices

You can reschedule or cancel a booking at any time using the link in your confirmation. To have your booking details deleted, contact the host by replying to your calendar invitation.
